🌿 God in the Waiting

  Waiting is never easy. It confronts us with our impatience, our doubts, and the silence of God. Yet Scripture is full of stories where waiting was not wasted time, but sacred preparation for something greater. David waited twelve years before he became king. Joseph waited thirteen years before he ruled Egypt. Abraham waited twenty-five years for the promised son. Moses waited forty years in the desert. Noah waited one hundred and twenty years building an ark before the rain came. In the New Testament, we also find women who waited: the woman at the well, the woman who touched Jesus’ cloak, the woman caught in adultery, and Mary and Martha. Each of them experienced that God’s timing is never late. What Happens in the Waiting Waiting is never passive. Before leading, Moses learned to depend on God .
